This punk rock birthday card sings "Happy Birthday" — and won't stop until the battery dies

It looks like a normal birthday card: a punk rock T-Rex with a flaming orange mohawk on the front, "Hope it's Dino-Mite" on the inside. But the second it opens, it rips into a punk rock version of "Happy Birthday" on an endless loop — no off switch, no mercy. Close it, stuff it in a drawer, hide it under a couch cushion: it keeps playing for hours until the battery finally gives out.

That's the whole joke. Everyone expects a card to get read once and tossed. This one keeps going long enough to earn a "what did you send me?!" text — which is half the fun, and sometimes the start of a whole conversation. It's the kind of gift people actually remember, whether it's for a dinosaur-obsessed kid or an adult who deserves a little birthday chaos.

How the Endless Musical Card Works

  1. Open the card to test the sound, sign it, then close the card to stop the sample.
  2. Insert the card into the envelope and pull the tab from the spine to arm it.
  3. Once they open the card, the song loops non-stop — even if they close it — and plays for hours, until the battery dies.
  4. If they try to break the card to stop the sound, a hidden glitter trap is waiting inside.

*Plain white envelope included in all cards

Great For

  • The dino fan of any age — kids fall for the cover, adults fall for the leather jacket and the power chords.
  • The pop-punk kid (or the adult who still is one) — finally, a "Happy Birthday" with an attitude problem, cranked until the battery dies.
  • Milestone birthdays for someone young at heart — 30th, 40th, 50th, any year that calls for a little extra noise.
  • From the kids — the dinosaur sells it on sight, and the song refuses to quit long after the candles are out.
  • Anyone who tries to pull the plug — prying open the battery to kill the song is exactly when the glitter gets them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I sign the card before it activates?

Yes. You can safely sign the card and it will play one-time. Close the card and it will stop.

How long does the song play?

Once activated, the card plays continuously for 3 to 6 hours until the internal battery dies. There is no off switch. Please note; batteries are like a sponge so if they open it again you'll get more music.

How do I activate the card?

We suggest inserting the card into the envelope first the remove the instructional tab from the spine. The moment your recipient opens the card, the song (or sound, depending on your design) starts playing automatically and won't stop until the battery dies or it's broken.

How do I stop the song?

Once activated there is no off switch. The song plays until the battery dies. Attempting to destroy the card triggers the hidden glitter (or in some cases the glitter is found when the pull strip is removed). That's the prank.

Does the card come with a Glitter Envelope

No. All cards ship with a plain white envelope. The glitter is already built inside the card itself, either hidden inside waiting to be unleashed or behind a pull-strip reveal. If you want the full glitter ambush on the outside too, we sell Glitter Trap Envelopes separately.

Don't be the fool; play the fool.
